Google Calendar: Watch Calendar Events (instant)
planned
AIOWorld
Would be helpful when we could set a schedule for when a new request is made not like every 5 min or so sun screnario

REPLY: What currently prevents us from using the Push Notifications is A) the channel expiration time cannot be set longer than one month and B) Integromat apps currently do not feature a mechanism to periodically refresh webhooks as this is the first API featuring expiring webhooks.

The more calendars you watch and the more often you poll them, the more operations you "burn". It's a total PITA, especially when Integromat pauses everything if you run out.
Tereza Klobouckova
David Barton: I understand. Unfortunatelly, we are limited by Google's API.

Tereza Klobouckova: what is specifically the limitation? Google seems to allow webhook notifications (with an expiry). People have said Zapier does it, so there can't be a technical limitation.
Calendar polling burns through more than half my operation budget each month monitoring 2 calendars AND it means we have to wait multiple minutes for things to happen.
The reason I upgraded my plan was to be able to check the calendar every minute, but ironically I can't use that many operations :-(
Tereza Klobouckova
David Barton: The limitation is that there is now way how to refresh the webhook's expiration. The longest expiration time is 30 days. Meaning, you would have to make sure that you update your webhooks every 30 days.

Any update on this? The expiration seems optional now
Tereza Klobouckova
Loic Sebe: Thank you for your information. Unfortunatelly, the max value is 30 days.

So, the problem is that the push API has a maximum ttl of 30 days, at which point you need to call the
watch
method again. If only there was some sort of service that could automatically call web APIs after a certain period of time... ;)

Michal Máša Any progress on this yet? I know that Zapier supports 'Instant' google calendar events using the v3 Push API
