Subject: Feature Request: Support for Randomized Scheduling (Weekly & Monthly)
Dear Make.com Customer Care Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
As an avid user and strong advocate of your platform, I’ve found Make.com to be incredibly valuable for automating a wide range of workflows—particularly in the area of content scheduling and social media automation.
I would like to propose a feature enhancement that would be highly beneficial for users looking to improve engagement and reduce predictability in their online presence. Specifically, I am requesting support for two scheduling schemes:
Random Day of the Week: Trigger an automation on a randomly selected day each week (e.g., any day from Monday to Sunday).
Random Day of the Month: Trigger an automation on a random date within the month (e.g., between the 1st and 28th/30th/31st depending on the month).
The primary use case is for randomized social media post scheduling, which helps avoid patterns that reduce audience engagement. This would be a game-changer for creators and marketers seeking more organic and natural content distribution without manually adjusting schedules each time.
If this feature can be added as a native scheduling option or supported via a function module (e.g., a built-in randomizer or time-based iterator), it would add great flexibility to the platform and serve a variety of automation scenarios beyond just social media.
Thank you for considering this feature request. I’m happy to provide further context or contribute to a beta if this idea aligns with your roadmap.
Warm regards,
