As an automation agency, I need to create connections using my clients' OAuth credentials (Google, Facebook, etc.) without giving them access to my Make account.
Current Problem:
When creating an OAuth connection (e.g., Google Calendar, Instagram), the popup automatically uses whoever is logged into the browser. This forces agencies to either:
Share Make account credentials with clients (security risk)
Do screen share calls for every OAuth connection (time-consuming)
Log into client accounts ourselves (unprofessional)
Proposed Solution:
Allow users to generate a shareable authentication link for a specific connection type.
How it would work:
Agency clicks "Create Connection" → "Generate Auth Link"
Make generates a unique, secure link
Client clicks link, logs into their own account (Google, Meta, etc.)
Connection is saved to the agency's Make account
Benefits:
Agencies can onboard clients asynchronously (no calls needed)
Clients never see the Make dashboard
Similar to how Leadsie works for ad account access
Huge time-saver for agencies managing multiple clients
