Fix Anthropic Claude Module timeouts
Vernau Mier
Contrary to other AI modules like OpenAI's, where the default timeout is 300 seconds, the Anthropic Claude module seems to have a non-modifiable timeout of 60 seconds. This turns Anthropic Claude's module unusable for long tasks. Please, provide a custom timeout in Advanced Settings or change the default to 300.

Timeout error on Claude and Perplexity Models due to insufficient module waiting time (please extend to 2 mins)
Justin Duveen
Hi there, I have a complex multi agent system which uses both Perplexity and Claude and I keep getting intermittent Time-out errors from both AI Modules. I have added delays into the workflow to slow down repeat calls but it seems that due to the complex nature of the prompts the LLM’s take longer than 40 seconds to respond. Please can you increase the Time out limit for these AI modules from 40 seconds to 120 seconds?
I’m sure I’m not the only AI builder experiencing this frustrating problem? It makes moving to production very stressful and building in error handling on a 15 step AI agent framework is tedious. Also, re-running the module results in the same timeout error so this makes error handling very difficult..
Thanks for your help and for building an awesome system!!

Thank you for reporting this problem. It has been resolved back in December 2023, module timeour increased to the same value we have for OpenAI, only not updated here. Please, let us know if you still experience any issues.

Jan Knettig The module timeout is not the same for OpenAI and for Anthropic. Please provide a custom timeout or just set them to 300 sec, the default for the HTTP call module.

Increase the timeout for Claude - Arthropic

Claude frequently takes more than the timeout limit to produce its response, so it could avoid getting too many error responses.
