The limit to 300 seconds is a major stopper for me, as it doesn't let me divide my complex system in smaller modules and connect them with HTTP request, because if a section takes more than 5 minutes everything stops working.

I am currently having issues with timeout as the script that i am running has an api that only allows pagination of 10 records per run
